POLE POSITION for Glenn Seton and Bob Pearson for tomorrow’s Great Southern Four Hour enduro and a first-up win for Jack LeBrocq in the Australian GT Championship were the big stories of a busy day at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.
Stunning speed from the Radical sports cars and a maiden win for a legendary name racing in the Suzuki Swifts capped off an action packed Saturday at round three of the Shannons Australian Motor Racing Nationals.
LeBrocq stormed to the race victory in the first of two, one-hour Australian GT Championship presented by Pirelli races held this weekend, dominating proceedings in his Erebus Motorsport Mercedes Benz SLS AMG.

Glenn Seton and Bob Pearson have edged out Mitsubishi rivals Garry Holt and Ryan McLeod for pole position in tomorrow’s Great Southern Four Hour endurance race at Phillip Island.
The Holt / McLeod combination topped the initial 20-minute session with a strong 1m43.0350s lap – only for Seton’s 1m42.7789s to bump them back to second in the later session.
The two Mitsubishi's will start 1-2, with the Dylan Thomas / Ryan Simpson car in third.

IT’S EARLY DAYS, but an early lock-out of the top three positions has Mitsubishi teams well placed for this Sunday’s inaugural Great Southern Four hour endurance race, at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit in Victoria.
Strong early pace by the trio of Evolution Lancers was the focal point of a busy day of practice as the third round of the Shannons Australian Motor Racing Nationals commenced at the Victorian circuitMeanwhile, Jack LeBrocq was stunning on his debut in the Australian GT Championship, whilst James Winslow flew into the 1m26s in practice for the Radical Australia Cup, driving one of the brand-new V8 powered SR8s.
