Shannons Nationals to turn 25 at Eastern Creek
27/06/2008 at 4:25:06 AM - The Shannons Nationals will hold its 25th event on 12-13 July at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway, Round Five of the 2008 series.
Formed in 2006 as a partnership between the Confederation of Australian Motorsport, circuit promoters and racing categories, the Shannons Nationals has grown steadily and cemented its place as a viable home for national-level racing categories.

Hyundai wins Australian Manufacturers Championship opener

A promising 16-car field including nine manufacturers headed to the Victorian circuit, following a major overhaul of the Production Car scene in recent months.

New era for Production Car racing to start at Phillip Island
12/06/2008 at 6:03:51 AM - Signalling the start of a new era of Production Car racing, the Australian Manufacturers Championship will kick off this weekend at Phillip Island, in Round Four of the Shannons Nationals.
After a major overhaul of the local Production Car scene, Phillip Island will host Round One of the new championship, as part of one of the biggest-ever Shannons Nationals rounds, with over 160 competitors set to do battle.
